Zyprexa

Do you know anyone who takes Zyprexa? I do and I know that it is rather expensive. Even with a copay from you insurance it is still pricey, especially if you have other medications to pay for each month. And the sad thing is there is no generic for Zyprexa and probably will not be for a few years. The last time I looked on the internet, it said in 2011 there may be one. While the amount of money spent on the Zyprexa is well worth it each month, I feel there should be an alternative. This medication does do a great job for persons with Bipolar disease. I have seen a huge difference since the person I know has started taking it. To be able to live life without having to worry about the bipolar disease must be great for them, but then you have the worry about if you can afford the medication every month.
